White women lead Champaign County jury makeup
URBANA – For the third year in a row, more white women than any other demographic group sat in judgment of defendants in Champaign County court cases.
The over-representation of white women and the non-existence of Asian males in the jury pool were among the findings of the fourth annual report of the Champaign County Courtwatching Project.
