Text messages lead to child molesting charges
CHAMPAIGN – Another case of alleged child molesting was filed Thursday as the result of finding text messages on a teenager's phone, according to a Champaign County prosecutor.
Joseph Hall, 50, who listed an address in the 300 block of East Clark Street in Champaign, was arraigned on Class X charges of criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse, both allegedly involving a 13-year-old girl.
