Georgetown OKs spending plan, street-coating proposal

GEORGETOWN – City council members on Monday approved a $726,400 general-fund spending plan for the 2008-09 fiscal year that anticipates a $13,000 surplus.

Officials anticipate generating about $739,300 in the general fund during the upcoming fiscal year, from May 1, 2008, to April 30, 2009.
