Man pleads guilty to home invasion
URBANA – A Rantoul man who admitted attacking his neighbor in her home in December faces six to 30 years in prison when sentenced in June in Champaign County Circuit Court.
A jury had been selected Monday to hear the home invasion trial of Timothy Wilbourn, 42, of the Fountain Valley Mobile Home Park. But as the trial was about to begin before Judge Tom Difanis on Tuesday morning, Wilbourn decided to plead guilty.
