Proposal for TIF district on Danville's east side gains traction
DANVILLE – Plans are moving forward to establish a proposed tax-increment-financing district in a 20-acre area on the east side of town.
City officials told the city council's public services committee that the proposed Campus Corridor district could eventually require redevelopment agreements with Danville Area Community College and possibly Vermilion Development Corp., which could bring more retail to that area.
