Officials take care of vintage grenades
DANVILLE – University of Illinois and Champaign police specially trained to handle explosives took care of two vintage hand grenades Thursday.
UI Police Lt. Skip Frost said the bomb squad got a call from the Vermilion County War Museum, 307 N. Vermilion St., Danville, about 9:30 a.m.
