Candidate challenge to have court hearing

URBANA – A hearing has been set for an effort to take a Republican state representative candidate off the ballot.

Champaign firefighter Pat Devaney is challenging the organization papers of University of Illinois student Frank Calabrese, who is running as a Republican against incumbent state Rep. Naomi Jakobsson for the 103rd District seat.
