Annex roof-repair bid advances
DANVILLE – One Vermilion County Board member wants to know whether moving county offices out of the Courthouse Annex would be more prudent than spending more than a quarter of a million dollars to replace the roof and repair the east wall of the building.
Terry Stal, D-District 4, said he's not against the repairs but was hoping more research would have been done on the possibility of moving county offices out of the annex and into another building in Danville. He said a building that's one level, more accessible and has its own parking would be nice. The four-story annex does not have its own parking.
