Prices may delay water-tower replacement
GEORGETOWN – High prices may delay the replacement of the north water tower, Mayor Darrell Acord said Monday.
Georgetown City Council members have been pursuing the replacement of the 100,000-gallon water tower on the city's north side, which dates back to 1934 and is in need of about $200,000 in repairs and upgrades, Acord said.
