Woman's long journey to degree complete
DANVILLE – From the time Mary Wilkins knew about college degrees, she dreamed of getting one.
Seven decades later, give or take a few years, her dream is coming true.
On Friday, the 79-year-old Danville woman will receive an associate degree in general studies from Danville Area Community College.
