Campus police investigating armed robbery on Quad
URBANA – University of Illinois police are investigating a knife-point robbery that occurred on the University of Illinois Quad on Thursday night.
A UI police report said the 20-year-old Champaign man was walking north on the east sidewalk of the Quad about 9:30 p.m. when he was approached by three men, one of whom had a knife with a 4-inch blade.
