Charges dismissed in shooting case
URBANA – Criminal charges related to the December shooting of a man in Champaign were dismissed Monday in Champaign County Circuit Court.
Assistant State's Attorney Duke Harris said he dismissed charges against Robert D. Jackson Jr., 22, who listed an address in the 200 block of East Hill Street, Champaign, because the victim did not cooperate with the prosecution of Jackson.
