Danville police investigate fatal shooting

DANVILLE – Danville police are investigating the early morning fatal shooting of a 28-year-old Danville man.

Kenneth R. Sims was pronounced dead at 1:55 a.m. at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center, Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson said. He had multiple gunshot wounds, Danville Public Safety Director Larry Thomason said.
