Volunteer group takes animals to low-cost clinics
DANVILLE – Lisa Miller knew she should have her dog, Chevy, neutered, but money is tight.
"I just can't afford it," said Miller, who manages a local fast food restaurant. Depending on the vet, the procedure would cost $100 or more.
On Tuesday, Chevy traveled to Noblesville, Ind., with a van load of other dogs and cats to be spayed and neutered at a low-cost clinic.
