Board OKs settlement of fine from state
URBANA – The Champaign County Board voted with little discussion Thursday night to settle a fine from the state on its nursing home.
But the real drama may have been behind closed doors, as the board met in closed session for more than 90 minutes to discuss another nursing home legal problem, which board members declined to specify after the meeting.
