Two Villa Grove residents injured in accident

VILLA GROVE – Two Villa Grove residents were injured in rural Champaign County on Thursday when one motorist stopped to pick up a hitchhiker.

According to an Illinois State Police report, Timothy Odom, 39, who listed an address in Villa Grove, was driving north on Illinois 130 about two miles north of the Champaign County line when he saw a hitchhiker at 7:35 a.m. Odom slowed down to pick up the hitchhiker.
