Lightning suspected in blaze
DANVILLE – Fire officials believe lightning sparked a fire that did minor damage to the attic of house on Tuesday.
Firefighters were called to a fire at 614 N. Collett St. at 10:21 a.m. When they arrived, light smoke was coming from an attic vent of the two-story wood-frame house, Deputy fire Director Bobby Lillard said.
