Philo board discusses daycare expansion
PHILO – A privately owned day care center in Philo would like to expand within the public facility that houses it.
Philo Village Board member Dan Ault told fellow trustees Wednesday that Hugs & Bugs owner Dorella Pruitt has asked to rent another room in the R.E. Franks Meeting Center, a village-owned building that includes village offices, meeting rooms, a gymnasium and a stage. The requested room currently serves as the headquarters for the non-denominational Heartland Bible Chapel and is rented for various meetings and events.
