Sex offender faces charges
GIBSON CITY – A Gibson City man convicted of sexual abuse of a 16-year-old was charged Thursday with having unlawful communication with a child in a park.
Adam M. Mathes, 20, who listed an address in the 400 block of South State Street, was charged additionally with failure to register as a sex offender within five days of establishing a new residence in Gibson City.
