Defendant requests that trial be moved
DANVILLE – The attorney for the man accused of shaking 2½-year-old Reagan Williams to death in 2006 wants his client's trial moved out of Vermilion County.
Vermilion County Public Defender Robert McIntire on Thursday filed a motion for change of place of trial, citing "extensive" pretrial publicity from local media, as well as through a shaken baby syndrome public awareness and education campaign launched by Reagan's relatives.
