Man arrested in crash that killed one, injured another

ARCOLA – A Charleston man was arrested after being treated for injuries he received in a crash that killed one other man and injured another early Friday.

State police reported that Seth John Brooks, 24, of Charleston was arrested after he was treated and released at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County. He was cited for aggravated driving under the influence and reckless driving, according to state police. Brooks was being held in the Douglas County Jail on Friday afternoon.
