Former fire chief will return to post in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN – As expected, Doug Forsman will be back for a return stint as Champaign's fire chief.

City Manager Steve Carter announced this morning he had appointed Forsman to serve as chief, starting Aug. 6, at a salary of $135,000.
