Former grain co-op manager to pay $100,000 penalty
WATSEKA – A manager for the former Watseka Farmers Grain Co. Cooperative has been ordered to pay $100,000 in civil penalties in connection with his activities that led to the bankruptcy of the co-op four years ago.
The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced Thursday afternoon that it had received a permanent court injunction against Cameron Charles of Watseka.
