Arrest made in shooting of girl
URBANA – A 7-year-old Urbana girl was shot in the leg late Friday morning when a man inside an apartment fired a shot as the girl's mother, who didn't have her keys with her, tried to force open a window to their apartment.
Shaferual M. Hunt, 30, who lives in the apartment at 1726 E. Colorado Ave. with the mother and daughter, was arrested by Urbana police on preliminary charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm. He was not being held at the Champaign County Jail as of Saturday.
