Allhands' trial will stay in Vermilion County for now
DANVILLE – When Ryan Allhands stands trial later this year on charges of shaking 2½-year-old Reagan Williams to death, he most likely will be judged by a jury of Vermilion County residents.
Vermilion County Circuit Judge Michael Clary on Monday denied Allhands' request to move his murder trial out of the county. At this time, he said, there isn't enough evidence to show that the publicity surrounding Reagan's death or Allhands' case has prejudiced potential jurors.
