Monticello woman remains in hospital

SEYMOUR – A Monticello woman who crawled from her car to a road hours after her car crashed Monday remained hospitalized Wednesday morning.

Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said Cindy Shelmadine, 39, was driving east on County Road 1675 N near 200 E early Monday when the rear tire on her car blew and she lost control.
