Rantoul towing ordinance pulled for revisions
RANTOUL – Rantoul residents will have to wait another month before a controversial ordinance that allows police to tow vehicles goes into effect.
Rantoul Mayor Neal Williams pulled the proposed ordinance from the agenda at the start of Tuesday's village board meeting, saying it "needs a little more tweaking."
