Sidney's contract with fire protection district causing concerns
SIDNEY – Sidney village officials are having second thoughts about a contract with the Sidney Fire Protection District.
Under the contract signed in February, the village was to transfer $3,500 per year into an account for the fire department to run the Emergency Services Disaster Agency. Village Trustee Todd Williams was to serve as the coordinator and report to the trustees of the fire department.
