Man under arrest thought to have posed as chiropractor
RURAL ARTHUR – A man suspected of traveling the country posing as a chiropractor has been arrested in Douglas County.
Lonnie W. Lynch Jr., 51, was arrested Tuesday afternoon for conducting medical procedures without a license, according to a press release from the Douglas County sheriff's department. The Newnan, Ga., resident had been giving chiropractic services to citizens mostly in the Amish community in southwest Douglas County. He told residents his alignment of certain vertebrae could help with illness and pain, according to the press release.
