Integrity marked long career of former Danville police chief

DANVILLE – The first word that came to the minds of many people who worked closely with former Danville Police Chief Bob Dietzen is "honest."

"We worked together for 16 years," said former mayor Bob Jones. "He took his job extremely seriously and was an honest, conscientious person. You could bank on what he said."
