Fireworks event at Harvest Moon drive-in canceled

GIBSON CITY – On what would have been the tenth consecutive year for a summer fireworks display at the Harvest Moon Twin Drive-In, the event was canceled.

But this weekend also marks the 54th anniversary of the Harvest Moon Drive-In Theatre, and the theater is offering a bonus showing of Disney's new animated film "Wall-E" starting at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
