Fire damages two homes, destroys garage in Champaign

CHAMPAIGN – Fire and police officials are investigating an arson that destroyed a detached garage to a house in southwest Champaign.

Deputy Chief Tim Wild said firefighters were dispatched to the fire at 2001 Cypress Drive at 5:18 p.m. Monday.
