Former Champaign school official arraigned in attack
CHAMPAIGN – A former Champaign school official is accused of hitting the mother of her grandson with a hammer in a child custody dispute Friday.
Deloris Henry, 62, who listed an address in the 3300 block of Country Bend Place, was arraigned Monday on a felony charge of aggravated battery and a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of service of process, according to Champaign County State's Attorney Julia Rietz.
