Police training group moves into former nursing home
URBANA – The former Champaign County Nursing Home is now a "home" of a different sort, but the future may bring even more changes.
The 120,000-square-foot structure at 1701 E. Main St., U, is headquarters and training facility for the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System, a mutual-aid police group.
