Runner-up may get new shot to be Rantoul administrator

RANTOUL – A man who came close to becoming Rantoul's village administrator four years ago might get the job this year.

Rantoul Mayor Neal Williams said his staff has begun doing background and reference checks on William Barlow, the village manager of Winfield.
