Police release name of man who died in custody

RANTOUL – Rantoul police have released the name of a man who died in police custody Friday after getting in a fight in Rantoul.

Rantoul police investigator Sgt. Jeff Wooten said Darren F. Wilson, 40, of 1125 Bel Air Drive, Rantoul, was pronounced dead at Carle Foundation Hospital at 9:11 p.m. Friday.
