State police on alert for unsafe drivers on way to Brickyard 400
State police troopers in Illinois and Indiana will be watching for drivers speeding and otherwise driving unsafely on the way to the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis.
The 15th running of the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard will be on Sunday, with pre-race activities, including NASCAR Sprint Cup practice, at the Speedway. Events also include practices and races at O'Reilly Raceway Park in Tremont, Ind. The Brickyard 400 race Sunday is expected to draw 400,000 spectators.
