Teen arrested in fights after Champaign County Fair closes
URBANA – A number of fights that broke out on north Urbana streets as the Champaign County Fair was closing Friday night resulted in the arrest of one man.
Urbana police Sgt. Dan Morgan said there were about 200 to 300 people leaving the fair around 11 p.m. and "a large number were fighting" in the 1300 block of North Busey Avenue, on North McCullough Street and on North Coler Avenue, he said.
