Teen gets court supervision for throwing items from overpass
URBANA – A Mahomet teen who admitted throwing bags or water balloons off an Interstate 74 overpass onto a van passing below was sentenced Monday to court supervision.
The sentence means that if the youth successfully completes his six-month period of supervision without getting into trouble or violating the rules of his supervision, he will have no record of a conviction.
