Man's upper lip bitten off in Penfield bar fight
PENFIELD – A Rantoul man whose lip was bitten off in a fight early Saturday was treated and released from Carle Foundation Hospital.
Champaign County sheriff's Sgt. Dan Coile said a deputy was sent to the Carle emergency room early Saturday where Christopher Tarter, 29, was being treated. He reported that he had been at the Last Call Tavern in Penfield and as he was leaving a fight broke out in the parking lot.
