Ex-Champaign man sentenced in federal case
URBANA – A former Champaign man who lied to state and federal prosecutors about a 1997 murder case in Champaign was resentenced Thursday in federal court to almost 37 years in prison.
Shance O. Dalton, 29, was being resentenced on a federal conviction for distribution of more than 5 grams of crack cocaine that occurred in January 2006.
