Champaign man pleads guilty in 2006 murder
URBANA – A Champaign man who admitted his role in the brutal murder of a Champaign couple two years ago faces 50 years in prison when sentenced in September.
Kenneth Sean Kelly, 35, whose last known address was in the 1000 block of South Neil Street, pleaded guilty Friday morning before Champaign County Judge Heidi Ladd to the July 1, 2006, first-degree murder of Jeremiah Haigh, 58, of 1702 Scottsdale Drive, C.
