Former UI employee found guilty of stealing from university
URBANA – A Champaign County judge Monday found a former University of Illinois employee guilty of stealing more than $90,000 from the UI over a three-year period.
Judge Heidi Ladd convicted Anjanette Jones, 38, for whom the court file listed addresses in the 800 block of East Kerr Avenue, Urbana, and the 1500 block of Countryside Place, Champaign, of theft over $10,000 in a stipulated bench trial.
