Villa Grove Foods IGA plans grand reopening for Aug. 13
VILLA GROVE – The long wait is almost over for Villa Grove grocery shoppers. The doors of the Villa Grove Foods IGA are set to re-open to customers at 11 a.m. Wednesday. There will also be other activities to celebrate the store's first day back in business after an April 16 fire forced its closure.
"When we found out how much damage was in the compressor room and how long it would take to fix that, we decided to make some improvements and make it as much of a new store as we could," said store Manager Troy Woods.
