Man admits to murder of woman found in Boneyard Creek
URBANA – An Urbana man on Monday admitted the murder of his girlfriend, whose body was found in the Boneyard Creek in Urbana last year.
Curtis Lee Collins, 42, whose last known local address was in the 400 block of West Main Street in Urbana, pleaded guilty to the murder of Heather Muntean, 31, who was pronounced dead at 8:22 a.m. May 16, 2007, at the scene where she was found face down in the water below a bridge across Race Street.
