Danville girl in critical condition after being hit by car

URBANA – A 6-year-old Danville girl who was hit by a car in Danville over the weekend was listed in critical condition Monday at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Danville Public Safety Director Larry Thomason said the girl, whom he declined to identify, was struck around 5:20 p.m. on Saturday in the 900 block of West Voorhees Street, near Logan Avenue.
