GCMS officials OK budget for special ed cooperative
GIBSON CITY – School board members approved a new budget Monday for the Ford County Special Education Cooperative, and reviewed a proposed budget for the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley school district.
Cooperative Director Rick Brackmann said the organization had a shortfall of $91,376 in revenue, due mostly to missing promised state payments. "But we still spent less than we took in," for the fiscal year just ended, Brackmann said.
