Champaign County Board puts schools-tax proposal on ballot
URBANA – A 1 percent school-sales-tax proposal will be on the November ballot.
The Champaign County Board voted 23-3 Thursday night to place the referendum on the ballot, a formality since all 14 affected school districts support it.
