School projects completed in Cerro Gordo
CERRO GORDO – School was not in session, but the Cerro Gordo school district was busy this summer as several maintenance projects were completed.
Superintendent Brett Robinson said those projects included installation of new unit ventilators in the elementary school annex and the middle school, new carpet in the lower main hallway of the high school, new water fountains in the main hallway of the high school, new toilets and flush valves in the boys' restroom in the main hallway of the high school, repairs and safety modifications to the high school gym bleachers, removal of aging visitor's bleachers at the football field (a replacement set is to arrive soon) and a tiling project around the elementary school annex to improve drainage during heavy rains.
