Fire damages Rantoul factory; no one hurt
RANTOUL – Rantoul Fire Chief Ken Waters said a Sunday evening fire caused an estimated $500,000 damage to a Rantoul industrial plant.
According to a Rantoul Fire Department report, firefighters were called to a blaze at the former Rantoul Products Plant 1, 300 Shellhouse Road, at 7:33 p.m. Sunday.
